Proverbs 16;16

Acquire wisdom- how much better it is than gold

and Acquire understanding- it is preferable to silver

 

Gold and silver the same as money only lasts so long and you can't take it with you. Even if you leave it to a loved one, you're not sure if they will use it wisely.

 

Wisdom and understanding is awesome but you can become wise and understanding about many things that can end in nothing but pride on our part.

 

But acquire wisdom and understanding about the ways and the words of God and you have something no money, Gold, or silver can buy.

 

Proverbs 1:7 says that the fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge.

 

It all starts with fearing the LORD and paying Him His due Honor and Glory and Respect. Beginning with God each day, acknowledging our faults and sins to Him and asking forgiveness, then staying mindful throughout the day that God is your Master and Lord and that He has the power that surpasses all understanding.

 

This Great God created us for His own glory and I don't know about you but I love being loved by such a beautiful force. I love knowing that I am forever being watched over and corrected by the one that loves me more than I understand.

 

This is the wisdom I want and the understanding I seek after daily.

I keep falling deeper in love with God and He never stops making my heart stand in AWE of Him!
